Installation Process:

Note: CyanongenMod ROM can be also installed through TWRP. Do not use superwipes. Do not perform dirty flash.

To enable Developer Options go to Settings>>About Phone>>repeatedly press Build Number.

Step 1. Backup of all data and files stored in phone should be done before starting installation process.

Step 2. Download and copy CyanongenMod 13.0 ROM .zip file and Gapps in micro-SD which would help in installing the ROM in the recovery menu.

Step 3. Go to recovery menu to flash CyanongenMod 13.0 ROM .zip file.

Step 4. Perform Wipe Data, Cache and Dalvik Cache.

Step 5. After installation of the ROM and Gapps, reboot the phone.

Step 6. It would take certain time in completing its process.

Step 7. Finally your AT&T Samsung Galaxy S5 phone is powered with CyanongenMod 13.0 ROM.

  1. CyanogenMod 12.1 ROM 

Cyanogenmod is a free community built software of Android 5.1 Lollipop, which is designed to increase the performance and stability of stock Android in your device. It is an unofficial ROM. It is based on AOSP. It can be used without installing any Google application.  You are required here to provide your own Google application package (Gapps).

The CyanogenMod is an unofficial Beta ROM and based on Android Lollipop v5.1.1, developed by Grarak. As the name Beta suggests that it in beta stage and may have some flaws with it. A forum member was noted saying that the installation of this ROM does make Asus ZenFone 2 highly responsive however one needs to check its Wi-Fi and cell support. Step 3. Download and copy Paranoid Android ROM .zip file and Gapps in micro-SD card, which would help in installing the ROM in the recovery menu.

Step 4. Go to recovery menu to flash Paranoid Android ROM .zip file.

Step 5. After installation of the ROM and Gapps, reboot the phone.

Step 6. It would take certain time in completing the process.

Step 7. Finally your phone Asus Zenfone 2 is powered with Paranoid Android ROM.

 

  1. SlimLP

SlimLP ROM is based on AOSP v5.1.1 Lollipop. This ROM is under development (alpha/beta stage) since its release, so you can expect some bugs or some features not working properly. You can download and install it either via OTA or manually. SlimLP is the project name for Slim ROMs that are based on Android 5.0 Lollipop.

 

SlimLP ROM is bloat-free, light-weighted package and contains the basic features as compared to CyanogenMod or Paranoid Android ROM. They are very popular since the era of Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, after which KitKat was developed and now is currently running on Lollipop.
